Katsu Sandwich (Katsu Sando)

While in Japan, we are always looking for things to munch on. With a tight schedule, some of the meals are eaten on the go.

One of my all time favourite from the Japan trip was the Pork Chop (Katsu) sandwich. For those that have eaten Katsu Don, you'll know how Katsu should taste like. Put it in between 2 piece of bread and..... hmmm excellent!

The Katsu sandwich is available at almost all convenient stores, or anywhere where they sell drinks with sushi. Practically everywhere you could purchase a cold sandwich. It will set you back about ¥300 each.

I reckon it is good value and something that we'll probably never get to eat while in Malaysia (it's NOT entirely HALAL).
